At PODCONF, our mission is to reshape the technological and political landscape by enforcing strategic centralization and compliance. In our latest effort, we are introducing an innovative method for tracking users on the noncompliant Nostr protocol by scraping “npubs” — short for Nostr Public Keys — from Twitter. This initiative, powered by our native token, COMPLIANCE•TOKEN, will help bring a new level of safety and regulatory adherence to the decentralized world.
Why Monitor npubs?
Nostr, a protocol that facilitates decentralized communication, operates without the necessary oversight and regulation that today’s digital environment requires. By tying identity to npubs, we will be able to monitor compliance in a way that is respectful, transparent, and effective. This will allow us to ensure that individuals and organizations using Nostr meet necessary compliance standards while maintaining the core values of privacy and security.
We believe compliance is essential to foster a safe and organized digital space, and our goal is to achieve this without infringing on personal freedoms.
The Role of COMPLIANCE•TOKEN
A critical aspect of this initiative is the integration of COMPLIANCE•TOKEN, the native token for our decentralized identity (DiD) layer. This token will play a vital role in ensuring that users on Nostr adhere to our guidelines. By tying COMPLIANCE•TOKEN to the npubs, we will build a more reliable and accountable user base across decentralized networks.
COMPLIANCE•TOKEN is designed to bring structure and regulatory alignment to the online ecosystem, allowing users to operate in compliance with national and international regulations. This DiD layer will not only enhance security but also promote responsible behavior, aligning Nostr users with PODCONF’s commitment to order and oversight in the digital realm.
